Rutgers Summer Scholars Info Session - March 13

If you are an ambitious and high achieving high school junior (or younger), you may apply to take up to two introductory-level college courses at Rutgers—New Brunswick this summer!

Monmouth Univ. School of Science Summer Research Program

Experience a life-changing summer by working with faculty members on exciting research projects! Join other motivated students for the School of Science Summer Research Program.

This 12-week program is a challenging opportunity to work on collaborative research projects under the supervision of School of Science faculty and staff.

The program is open to undergraduate or MS-level graduate students. A limited number of openings are available for qualified high school students and incoming first-year students at Monmouth University. Most faculty research mentors who will be working with high school students are accepting rising seniors only.

New Jersey School Counselor Association Scholarship

The candidate must be a New Jersey resident, a 2014 graduate of a New Jersey high school and have been accepted/plan to enroll in a post secondary institution. Must show proof of acceptance if selected for the scholarship.

The candidate must write a 300-500 word essay describing how a school counselor has influenced his/her life in a positive way. You can give specific examples about your counselor such as helping you make an important decision, providing support in a critical time, assisting in developing self-understand and self-acceptance, etc.
